Details of the game popped up on the XBOX game store last night and shed more light on what to expect.

Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive.
Gaming specifics are still scarce, but it is being billed as a survival horror with both single player and 4 player co-op. It will be interesting to see what other characters will be available in the co op mode and if they will have ties to the original film as well.
