If you haven’t seen the original 1981 movie, the new version involves the same premise of five college age friends who go out to a cabin in the woods only to find the Book of the Dead in the basement, which leads to all sorts of craziness.
We spoke with the actors about their own knowledge of the Evil Dead movies before getting the part, how Bruce Campbell has supported them throughout the movie, and some of the scenes that didn’t make the final cut. We spoke with the filmmakers about how they decided on what to bring back from the original movies to appease the fans and more.
