Every year you see those stupid costumes that someone puts on their dogs. Whether its a superhero, a hot dog, a cheerleader, a bumblebee, or a nurse, it probably gets on your nerves at how cute it is. Luckily, someone has been paying attention to this and theyve got just the costume you need to make your pet as scary on Halloween as you look, introducing Zombie Paws.
Zombie Paws is the brainchild of comic book creator and publisher Josh Blaylock, who has teamed with Cirque FX founders Crystal Portillo and Jessica Christopher to produce the coolest, creepiest Halloween dog costumes, now launching on Indiegogo.com.
The team has created an initial line of designs for the launch, composed of three costumes: The Zombie, The Robot, and Terror Bug, and are available in three basic sizes.
“A few years ago dog costumes began taking over entire walls of Halloween stores, and I noticed they were all goofy,” says Blaylock. “I couldn’t shake the idea of creating some simply badass outfits for everyone’s pooches, and finally found a way to do it thanks to the talented partners at Cirque FX and the magic of crowd funding.”
“This can only happen if we raise enough funding, but if we do, expect to see much more Zombie Paws goodies in the future. Either way I’m just happy to finally have been able to get this idea out there.”
So, if youre tired of the same old costumes for your pet, dont think theres nothing you can do about it. Unlike other crowdsourcing websites, Indiegogo allows it’s creators to keep all the funds they raise even if they don’t meet their goal. So treat this campaign like you’re ordering it directly from the seller (because you are!).
Even if the campaign doesn’t completely succeed in it’s goal you still get the costumes piece you’ve ordered. The campaign is set to end the first week of Halloween so you should get your dog’s brand new awesome costume just in time for Halloween.
