Get ready for the Apocalypse
While we await the release of Rec 3: Genesis, things are getting underway on Rec 4: Apocalypse.
Jaume Balaguero took to his Twitter account last night to write (and we roughly translate): “Launched the screenplay of REC Apocalypse. It will run bloody, I’m afraid.”
The filmmaker, who was an integral player in the first two chapters as co-writer and co-director alongside Paco Plaza, stepped away from Rec 3: Genesis (directed by Plaza) to helm the upcoming thriller Sleep Tight.
Where Genesis is said to be a prequel, Apocalypse is supposedly going to end the franchise.
