Early details on Whitaker project
Forest Whitaker will produce and star in Vipaka.
The project is being described by Variety as an “elevated genre pic” that is both a psychological thriller and a film about voodoo. Anthony Mackie and Sanaa Lathan will co-star.
According to Variety the film, follows two adversaries who go head-to-head in a game that will test each man’s belief in what they’re certain is the truth.
Philippe Caland is directing.
