• On August 2, Warner Home Entertainment is bringing Final Destination 2 and Final Destination 3 to Blu-Ray for the first time, importing all of the bonus content seen on the DVD releases.

• Breaking Glass Pictures has acquired the horror-comedy Bite Marks and plans to release the vampire flick on DVD this November.

Written and directed by Mark Bessenger, and starring Windham Beacham, newcomer actor David Alanson, and Benjamin Lutz, Bite Marks is the dark tale of a truck driver named Brewster (Lutz), who is confronted by a bloody scary revelation: the delivery that he has accepted to take over from his missing brother, which he must transport to a funeral home, contains a load of coffins.

On the way, Brewster picks up hitchhiking gay couple, Cary (Beacham) and Vogel (Alanson), in order to help keep him awake. As night falls, Brewster’s GPS leads them to a deserted junkyard in the middle of the boonies, where the truck breaks down, stranding them. The trio soon find that the coffins they are hauling have unleashed blood-thirsty vampires. Will they be able to survive until dawn?

Stephen Geoffreys of Fright Night co-stars.

• Bruce Campbell gives Vulture the latest on what’s going on with a sequel to My Name is Bruce.

He says, “”Well, the script sucked. We’ve got to start all over again. Your script is your blueprint. If your blueprint is off, your building is going to be, too. In the old days, I wouldn’t have even known what a bad script was. But now I have a better idea and I know that you actually can’t fix a bad script. With a great script, you can get a lousy actor and he’ll still be good in it. But a lousy script, you can get Laurence Olivier and it’ll still suck. So we’re working on it. We don’t want to piss people off. You make a sequel, people have expectations.”

He doesn’t think the script for the first film sucked?
