In the first official episode of Shock Till You Drop’s podcast, Shock Waves, yours truly and FEARnet’s Lawrence Raffel take a look at films like The Reef, Attack the Block and I Saw the Devil, chat about their visit to the 1988 Gallery’s Crazy for Cult event, preview the upcoming terrors that will be seen at the San Diego Comic-Con and reflect on the horror model kit scene. Yes, model kits. A hobby I thoroughly enjoyed in my teens and one that broke my bank on several occasions, but hey, model kit building kept me out of trouble, and that’s what counts, right?
As with episode 0, we’re still getting into a groove here. Your feedback on our last endeavor was encouraging and mostly positive (well, I’ll just say I haven’t heard anything bad yet). This truly is a grassroots effort and something we’re enjoying.
What has changed since our last episode is that Shock Waves is NOW AVAILABLE ON iTUNES. There’s a bit of a delay between when I post episodes here and when they appear on iTunes, so if you’d prefer to download them and you don’t see the episode there, just hold tight. It’ll pop up eventually.
