Actor locked in, plot update
There’s still life left in Perros Muertos, the Spanish zombie actioner we first told you about in February.
Variety reports a new producer, Telespan 2000, is on board to bring Koldo ( Serra’s film to the screen. It was originally expected to shoot in October.
The news outlet says the story concerns “a small-time juvenile gangster, Cocacolo, flees south with his gang after a Barcelona bank heist. Double-crossed and abandoned in the middle of nowhere, he join forces with a Spanish family to battle a zombie outbreak, sparked by the locals’ consumption of adulterated rapeseed oil.”
Hugo Silva is set to star.
