Starring Dominic Monaghan and Ron Perlman
One of the cooler genre related flicks to come out this last year was Glenn McQuaid’s quirky horror/comedy I Sell The Dead, starring Dominic Monaghan, Ron Perlman, Larry Fessenden and Angus Scrimm. The film follows Arthur Blake (Monaghan), a man awaiting execution who confesses to Father Duffy (Perlman) about his graverobbing exploits with Willie Grimes (Fessenden) and the trouble that ensued from their profession.
High Def Digest are reporting that a Blu-Ray edition of the movie will hit store shelves on March 30th, 2010. (A quick search on Amazon confirms this release date.)
While special features and disc specs have yet to be announced, we do have a glimpse at the Blu-Ray cover art, pictured left.
You can check out the trailer at our previous news post here, as well as an interview with writer/director Glenn McQuaid right here. Plot synopsis below:
18th Century England, a young graverobber (Dominic Monaghan) finds himself condemned to death for his crimes, with only a priest (Ron Perlman) for company for his last night before the gallows. A hilarious tale is told of a life spent digging up and selling supernatural corpses including vampires and zombies, and the many shenanigans involved!
