Joining Leighton Meester and Cam Gigandet
Minka Kelly, Aly Michalka and Matt Lanter have joined Screen Gems’ thriller The Roommate
Director Christian E. Christiansen is leading the cast which also includes Leighton Meester and Cam Gigandet. Written by Sonny Mallhi, the psychological thriller concerns a deranged college freshman, Rebecca (Meester), who becomes dangerously obsessed with her new roommate, Sara (Kelly).
According to THR, “Michalka will play an outgoing dormmate determined to give Sara a social life. Lanter will play Sara’s ex-boyfriend. Gigandet will play her current boyfriend.”
Roy Lee and Doug Davison’s Vertigo Entertainment is producing.
