Underworld beast becomes a bloodsucker
Michael Sheen continues to demonstrate his love for the genre.
When ShockTillYouDrop.com caught up to the Frost/Nixon actor on the red carpet for Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, in which he reprises his role as Lucian the werewolf, he expressed his enthusiasm for playing a creature of the night. Now he’s set to star in The Twilight Saga: New Moon for director Chris Weitz.
According to Variety, Sheen will play the leader of the Volturi, an Italy-based coven of vampires.
Shooting began last month, with stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, in Vancouver. In this entry, Stewart’s Bella gets drawn further in the world of the werewolves while facing a new vampire menace.
