Curtis’ Dead of Night Making DVD Debut

Making its debut on January 27th courtesy of Dark Sky Films is the 1977 made-for-TV anthology flick Dead of Night. Horror maven Dan Curtis of Dark Shadows fame, not to mention Trilogy of Terror, sat at the helm working from a script by Richard Matheson. Stories include Second Chance, in which Ed Begley Jr. is found traveling in time to meet the love his life, No Such Thing As a Vampire, and Bobby, where a mother’s wish is granted when she asks that her drowned son comes back to life. Dark Sky’s DVD presentation includes the featurette A Darkness at Blaisedon.
