February 2009 is going to be the month for all things Friday the 13th. Platinum Dunes’ new movie strikes theaters on the 13th, re-releases of the first three films arrive in Deluxe Edition DVDs (news here and here) on February 3rd as does the new documentary His Name Was Jason (official announcement). Paramount Home Entertainment is going to keep the love rolling with the DVD debut of Friday the 13th: The Second Season. The sophomore run of the television show starring John D. Lemay, Louise Robey and Chris Wiggins will street on February 10th.
