Dunst Signs to Jealous Ghost

From King of the Hill director

Spider-Man and Interview with the Vampire‘s Kirsten Dunst is set to star and produce A Jealous Ghost.

The film is set up at Paramount Vantage with the Film 260 trio Ben Forkner, Eric Kranzler and Daniel Rappaport producing. They’ve nabbed Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego to direct. He stirred up a modicum of buzz with the thriller King of the Hill which was acquired by The Weinstein Company.

On adaptation duties is Megan Holley who will translate Jealous, a novel by A.N. Wilson, for the big screen. According to THR, the story is about “a young American woman who travels to London to write a dissertation on Henry James’ classic ghost tale, The Turn of the Screw, only to find that her own circumstances begin to reflect the strange happenings of the story.”

Holley is doing another pass at the script before Vantage possibly moves it into production.
