Strangers’ Bertino Paints It Black

Lines up two pictures for Rogue

Rogue Pictures has rewarded The Strangers‘ writer-director Bryan Bertino with a two-picture deal in the wake of his feature debut’s $52 million box office success.

The first film, Black is a “character-driven thriller with supernatural elements.” Alone, another thriller, will follow. This is, of course, in addition to Green Eyes, a script Bertino has lined up at Paramount with Scott Rudin producing.

According to Variety, Bertino’s pact with Rogue does not include a Strangers sequel.
