Strippers Descend into The Devil’s Dungeon

Horror vet cast follows them in

Producer Will Clevinger (Automaton Transfusion) informed us this morning that shooting began Tuesday on The Devil’s Dungeon, the latest indie effort from writer-director Jake Kennedy (Days of Darkness).

Where Days was Kennedy’s crack at the zombie sub-genre, Dungeon is more of a “cross between Wolf Creek and The House of Whipchord,” explains Clevinger. “Shot in the style of Cloverfield and Children of Men.”

Jeepers Creepers 2‘s Marieh Delfino and Eve Mauro (pictured, Wicked Lake) star in the film about a single mother/stripper caught in a nightmarish scenario. “When she’s approached by a stripper friend to take her place to dance at a well-paid private party, she jumps at the chance of making the extra money. But little does she know, the private party is actually a malicious trap by a psychopathic killer with a vendetta against strippers, where her worst nightmares are about to begin.”

Clevinger adds the events are based on true accounts (natch) stemming from an incident in Australia. Tony Todd, Tracy Coogan (Zombie Honeymoon), Garret Jones (Automaton Transfusion), Michael Madsen, Jason London, Jason Connery, Graham McTavish (Rambo), James Duval and Allison Lange (Single White Female 2) co-star.

Shooting is taking place in and around Los Angeles.
