Guillermo Del Toro’s Hellboy II: The Golden Army will serve as the closing night film for the Los Angeles Film Festival. The full event lineup will be announced sometime today (and we will update you with any horror offerings on the slab).
The fest, held mostly in Los Angeles’ Westwood area and spread out amongst various theaters, runs June 19th through June 29th. Hellboy, which actually doesn’t open wide until July 11th, will screen on the 28th at the Mann Village Theatre.
Starring Ron Perlman, Selma Blair, Luke Goss, Thomas Kretschmann and Doug Jones, Hellboy pits the titular hero against a prince who awakens an army of creatures to overthrow humankind.
