Chon’s on-screen identity revealed
Last week, via Variety, we reported actor Justin Chon was joining the cast of Catherine Hardwicke’s Twilight. The trade paper announcement came with no details on who Chon might be playing. According to MTV, he’s locked for “Eric Yorkie,” a role that would position him close to leading lady Kristen Stewart (their characters share a friendship).
In other casting news, MTV adds Anna Kendrick (Rocket Science) is the film’s latest addition, she’ll be playing “Jessica Stanley.” A recurring character in the Stephenie Meyer’s book series upon which Twilight and its subsequent films is based, Stanley befriends Stewart’s Bella and later has a “falling out” with her.
