First pics from terror trio!
Pumping up their distribution slate, The Weinstein Co. picked up (likely for their Dimension label) three ominous overseas chillers from the France-based Wild Bunch.
Dorothy Mills is the first, an English-language flick concerning a woman assigned to investigate the death of a child at the hands of a 15-year-old girl who denies the murder yet later reveals to hold some paranormal powers. Delving into the sci-fi end of things, Dante 01 which is set on a prison/psychiatric research ship in deep space. Its inmates and staff discover trouble when a new prisoner with monstrous powers is admitted aboard. Then there’s Martyrs, the French film written and directed by Pascal Laugier. This one explores a little girl’s abduction, her ordeal in an icy prison and her subsequent escape.
