Himeno Toyokawa’s mother was a famous potter from Tajimi City who passed away when Himeno was only 4 years old. The Toyokawas’ new restaurant has many mugs that her mother made. Himeno recently moved back to Tajimi after her father’s company went bankrupt. On her first day of high school, after showing her classmates some of her mother’s mugs, Mika Kukuri, a strange girl in Himeno’s class, introduces her to the Pottery Club president. Himeno learns that her mother was a member of the club. It is a heartwarming story about Himeno joining the club with Mika and her friend Naoko to continue her mother’s work and learn to love pottery herself.
