Where is Taylor Swift playing tonight, August 8?

Taylor Swift will be performing tonight on August 8 at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion in Vienna, Austria.

Update: While a Taylor Swift concert was scheduled for August 8, it has now been canceled due to concerns about a planned terrorist attack. Event organizer Barracuda Music announced the cancelation on Instagram:

Swift will be performing at the venue for three consecutive nights, with her first show set for tonight. It is located in Leopoldstadt, the 2nd district of Austria’s capital Vienna. The Ernst Happel Stadium is the largest stadium in Austria with a seating capacity of around 50,000. This and the additional standing space on the grounds make it a perfect venue for the large number of fans attending the event. After a few days of rest, the “Bad Blood” singer will be back in complete form to deliver a set of thrilling performances in Austria.

The European leg of the Eras tour will, however, soon come to an end. After the shows in Austria, Swift will perform in London once again for three final shows in Europe, before returning to the States. Shows in Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis are scheduled towards the end of October going into November. After these, she will finally perform in Canada, where the Eras tour will also come to an end on December 8.

The pop icon will play around 45 of her hit tracks from all her albums. Her performance consists of 10 acts, each portraying an ‘Era’ of her musical journey. Recently, after the release of The Tortured Poets Department — Swift’s latest studio album — she made a few changes in the setlist to add her latest tracks. Her record-breaking Eras tour became the highest grossing concert tour ever and also reportedly boosted the US economy.
