This year, the K-pop girl group IVE will debut at Lollapalooza Chicago, one of the most anticipated music festivals in the US. The girl group has confirmed their performance date at the music festival.
Multiple K-pop groups will take over the stage at the 2024 edition of Lollapalooza Chicago. On August 2, Billboard history maker group Stray Kids will headline at Chicago’s Grant Park. Other artists performing on the same day include SZA, Zedd, Reneé Rapp, and more.
IVE to perform at Lollapalooza Chicago
Daesang’s winning K-pop act IVE will perform at Lollapalooza Chicago on Saturday, August 3, at 5 p.m. CT, 3 p.m. PT, and 6 p.m. ET at Grant Park. Tickets for the music festival are available on the official site. A single-day general admission ticket will cost around $155, and VIP tickets for a day are priced at $600.
While IVE has never performed in U.S. music festivals, they are no strangers to U.S. fans. The award-winning girl group successfully held their Show What I Have 2024 world tour in March in the U.S. with over six concerts. They performed at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, Dickies Arena in Texas and concluded the U.S. tour at Prudential Center in New Jersey.
After wrapping the U.S. leg, the girl group traveled to various European countries and performed in London, Berlin, and Amsterdam. The group ended the 2024 world tour at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on July 28.
Meanwhile, IVE also dropped one of their most successful albums this year. Before embarking on their much-anticipated world tour, they released their new EP, Ive Switch, on April 29, 2024.
The response to IVE’s new mini-album was nothing short of impressive. It sold over 1,705,293 copies in South Korea within a week of its release and peaked at number 2 on the Circle Album Chart. The significant sales and chart ranking made the album one of the most-selling K-pop albums of the year.
