The survivalists are surprised to find out that cooperation is prohibited in this contest. Jeff and Gary get into a tense confrontation while trying to retrieve bows hidden in a 30-foot tree. In the meantime, the survivalists scavenge elephant dung and showcase their wilderness skills in a bird trap challenge. Dan and Ky decide to make a trade to gain an advantage in the competition. Gary is the first one to achieve success in hunting. Strong winds end up forcing a competitor to withdraw from the competition.
