Disney Plus’s new TV and movie releases for July 1-7 2024 include a new episode of Star Wars: The Acolyte and the first seven minisodes of Bluey Minisodes.
On July 2, a new episode of Star Wars: The Acolyte drops on Disney Plus. Set a century before The Phantom Menace, The Acolyte unravels a Jedi murder mystery during the High Republic’s twilight. A Jedi Master reunites with his former Padawan when she becomes a suspect. However, their investigation reveals a deeper darkness than they anticipated. Created by Leslye Headland, the series stars Lee Jung-jae, and Amandla Stenberg. Furthermore, it also has Dean-Charles Chapman, Joonas Suotamo, and Dafne Keen.
The first seven installments of the highly anticipated, Bluey Minisodes arrive on Disney Plus on July 3, 2024. These bite-sized adventures, created by Bluey mastermind Joe Brumm and produced by Ludo Studio, clock in at one to three minutes each. The episodes delve into the playful world of Bluey and Bingo, showcasing their delightful antics and imaginative escapades.
Other releases scheduled to take place on Disney Plus this week include various television projects related to sharks as part of SHARKFEST. These include Attack of the Red Sea Sharks, which explores the origins and detailed histories of the sharks that killed 3 tourists in Egypt, and Supersized Sharks. It follows shark experts Adam Barnett, Lauren Myer, and Charlie Haveneers as they study why Norfolk Island’s Tiger Sharks are pretty large.
