The guilt he feels from killing Colin’s family is catching up with him, and the return of his risk-taking behavior could definitely lead to his death. So far, it looks like the writers are setting Frenchie up for a fall, but will it be his final one? Check out his status as of The Boys S04E04 below.
Does Frenchie die in The Boys Season 4?
As of The Boys Season 4, Episode 4, Frenchie is alive and is seen continuing his battle to take down the corrupt Supes.
During the course of three seasons, actor Tomer Capone has managed to establish Frenchie as one of the most beloved characters of the series through his masterful performance. Nevertheless, Serge’s arc has always been a conflicted one and has brought him pain at every other turn. He has desperately attempted to outrun his dubious past but has never found success in his attempts.
In the current season, Frenchie is associated with a character named Colin. He later discovers that he is responsible for killing Colin’s family, having carried out the deed during his time as a hitman. This takes a heavy toll on Frenchie’s mental health. Moreover, he constantly puts himself in harm’s way to rescue his allies as a means to redeem his past actions. Coupled with his drug use as a coping mechanism, this puts Frenchie closer to death than ever in The Boys Season 4. While his superhuman love interest, Kimiko, is always there to protect him, she too has her own share of dilemmas to deal with.
As a result, it seems possible that Frenchie could die while saving a loved one in The Boys Season 4. Nonetheless, nothing related to the ecstatic engineer’s fate has been confirmed at the time of writing. With five episodes yet to be released, anything can happen to anyone, as has been the norm with the narrative of The Boys.
