In early May 2024, it was announced that A24 had joined the production of the Huntington movie as its domestic distributor. John Patton Ford, known for Emily the Criminal, is directing the film. He also developed the script using the 1949 comedy-thriller film Kind Hearts and Coronets as inspiration. Kind Hearts and Coronets is part of the Comedy Library of Studiocanal, the French company financing Huntington. If production begins sometime this year, Huntington can potentially come out in mid-to-late 2025 at the earliest.
