The My Hero Academia manga is ending in Japan on Monday, August 5, 2024. It would end on Sunday, August 4, 2024, for residents in the U.S.
On June 24, the official X (formerly Twitter) account of My Hero Academia announced that the series will be ending in five chapters.
My Hero Academia is a shonen manga series by Kohei Horikoshi which Shueisha began serializing in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014. Viz Media handles the North American and English publishing. The series became a worldwide hit with a media franchise.
There are currently 40 volumes in Japanese, while there are 38 in English. Volume 39 is currently available for pre-order on the Viz Media website. Bones is the studio behind the anime adaptation which first premiered in April 2016, and it is currently in its seventh season.
Is the MHA manga ending soon?
It was announced that My Hero Academia is ending on August 5 in Japan.
MHA is currently in the Final War arc, which is part of the Final Act Saga. The Final Act Saga started in March 2021, so the end of the series has been going on for a few years now. The Final War arc began in February 2022.
The final chapter of MHA will be Chapter 430.
