Fans of Invincible season 2 are buzzing with excitement as the show’s finale draws near, wondering if Mark will finally fall in love with Atom Eve. Will fans have to wait a long time for their favorite characters to get together, or do Invincible and Atom Eve actually end up dating? Read on to unfold.
Does Mark get with Atom Eve in Invincible season 2?
No, Mark doesn’t tell Atom Eve that he loves her and so they don’t end up together.
While they don’t get together in season 2, it seems like Mark and Atom Eve may be moving toward a romantic relationship sooner than we might imagine. After Mark split up with Amber, Atom Eve visited him in the comics, which is a plot point that the television series has already developed.
Mark is reluctant to commit, but she is excited to talk about their relationship. Doctor Seismic, a series villain, captures her after she leaves. After saving her, Mark at last acknowledges his feelings for Eve, and the young kids kiss, marking the beginning of their official romance.
Why doesn’t Mark tell Atom Eve that he loves her?
Mark doesn’t tell Atom Eve because he doesn’t think the time is right. This is despite the alternate Atom Eve variant professing her own love for Mark.
Because of his recent breakup with Amber, Mark chooses not to tell Atom Eve how much he loves her. After Anissa threatens Amber in Invincible season 2, episode 7, Mark and Amber’s relationship ends.
Fans may be frustrated at how Mark doesn’t confess his love for Atom Eve. However, it should hopefully make for a fun subplot of the upcoming third season.
