Created by Randy Huggins, BMF (alternatively, Black Mafia Family) is a crime-drama series based on the eponymous real-world criminal organization. Demetrius Flenory Jr. or Lil Meech stars as Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, his father, and co-founder of BMF along with his (Big Meech) younger brother Southwest T. Season 1 premiered on September 26, 2021, season 2 on January 6, 2023, and season 3 on March 1, 2024. Curious about when the fourth season is coming out? This is what we have learned.
Here’s all the BMF Season 4 release date information we know so far, and all the details on when it is coming out.
Is there a BMF Season 4 release date?
BMF Season 4’s release date could arrive by early 2025.
In February 2024, a day before the third season premiere, Starz greenlit the fourth season of BMF. Kathryn Busby, Starz’s president of programming, said in a statement, “Fans can’t get enough of the history in the making that is BMF. We’re thrilled to start working on a new season that will continue bold storytelling of the legend of the Flenory brothers that has proven to resonate so deeply with our viewers.”
As mentioned above, seasons 2 and 3 came out in the early part of 2023 and 2024, respectively. So, we can speculate that the fourth season might premiere in early 2025.
This date is an estimation based on the information we have at the time of this writing.
Besides Lil Meech, the cast of BMF includes Russell Hornsby as Charles Flenory, Michole Briana White as Lucille Flenory, and Da’Vinchi as Terry “Southwest T” Flenory. Kelly Hu as Detective Veronica Jin and Steve Harris as Detective Von Bryant are also part of the cast.
Where is BMF Season 4 coming out?
BMF Season 4 is anticipated to come out on Starz in early 2025.
This is because the previous three seasons debuted on Starz as well. ComingSoon will provide an update when Starz officially announces the fourth season release date.
The official synopsis for BMF reads:
“The drug trafficking drama is inspired by the true story of two brothers who rose from the decaying streets of southwest Detroit in the late 1980s and gave birth to one of the most influential crime families in the country. It revolves around brothers Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry ‘Southwest T’ Flenory, who together took their vision beyond the drug trade and into the world of hip-hop. The drama, per Starz, will tell a story about love, family and capitalism in the pursuit of the American dream.”
