An “Avatar 3″ trailer dropped on YouTube one day ago, and fans are asking whether it is real or fake. Fans also want to know if there is a release date for the “Avatar” threequel’s official trailer.
Is the Avatar 3 trailer real or fake?
The “Avatar 3” trailer that just hit YouTube is fake.
Unfortunately, the “Avatar 3” trailer that hit YouTube one day ago is fake. It is clear from the get-go that the trailer is fake as the dialogue and voiceover are generated by AI (the clue being the robotic-sounding voices). Furthermore, the clips used in the trailer are from the previous two “Avatar” films.
This fake trailer was made and uploaded by Screen Culture. The YouTube channel is notorious for creating, editing, and uploading fake, fan-made, or concept trailers for film and television projects. These projects are either in development, and thus have not put out official footage, or projects that have not yet been announced or confirmed.
As of this writing, Screen Culture has over 945K subscribers and has uploaded over 2K videos.
Is there an Avatar 3 trailer release date?
There is no “Avatar 3” trailer release date as of this writing.
Although the filming and production on “Avatar 3” has wrapped, a trailer has yet to be put out. This is because the film is currently scheduled for December 19, 2025. As such, there is ample time for editors to quickly edit and put out the first official footage from the film.
Moreover, some big blockbuster Hollywood movies and franchises such as Avatar, Marvel, DC, or Star Wars to put out a teaser and official trailer roughly three to six months before its theatrical release. Therefore, fans should not expect a trailer to come out until around the May-September 2025 timeframe.
In entertainment elsewhere, Jon Bernthal is reportedly in talks to star in the new season of AMC’s The Terror. Also, here is a new trailer for The Garfield movie.
