The second trailer for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire just hit the web but fans are wondering if trailer 3 is on the way. Is there a release date? Will a third trailer drop? Here is everything you need to know.
Is there a Godzilla x Kong trailer 3 release date?
No, there is no release date for Godzilla x Kong trailer 3.
Warner Bros. released two trailers for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire in two months. The first trailer debuted on December 3, 2023, and the second trailer was released on February 14, 2024.
Both these trailers offered big teases of the plot and gave an idea to viewers of what they could expect from the film’s effects and action sequences such as pink-energy radiating Godzilla, Baby Kong aka Suko, and also Godzilla and Kong going up against Skar King and a new ice monster.
Will there be a Godzilla x Kong trailer 3?
It is unknown if a third or final trailer for Godzilla x Kong will be released.
However, it is very unlikely that a third trailer will drop due to the proximity of the second trailer’s release to the film’s release. As seen with major blockbusters like Marvel movies, they have only released two trailers in the two- to three-month timeframe before the film’s global release.
Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire is directed by Adam Wingard and stars Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Dan Stevens, Kaylee Hottle, Alex Ferns, Fala Chen, and Rachel House.
The official synopsis for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire via Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures reads:
“This latest entry follows up the explosive showdown of Godzilla vs. Kong with an all-new cinematic adventure, pitting the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence – and our own. The epic new film will delve further into the histories of these Titans, their origins, and the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond, while uncovering the mythic battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and tied them to humankind forever.”
In entertainment elsewhere, Sony will reportedly not release any new games for major existing PlayStation franchises until 2025. Also, M3GAN 2.0’s release date has been delayed.
