This romantic fantasy anime is an adaptation of the namesake manga series written and illustrated by Maybe. The plot follows Sato, a seemingly ordinary teenager, who learns that his childhood friend and crush, Hime, is a princess from another world. Hime marries Sato and gives him a ring that grants him light-based powers. She tells him that her world is under attack from the Abyss King and their demonic army. A prince was originally meant to become the hero and defeat the demons, but now, Sato must step up and claim this destiny.
