This romantic fantasy anime is based on the namesake manga series written and illustrated by Maybe. The plot revolves around Satou, a seemingly ordinary teenager, who discovers that his childhood friend and crush, Hime, is a princess from another world. Hime marries Satou and gives him a ring that grants him light-based powers. She tells him that her world is besieged by demons. A prince was supposed to defeat the demons and become the hero, but now, Satou must fulfill this role. He has to traverse around the world and wed four other princesses, earning the air, water, fire, and earth rings to vanquish the demons.
