What happened at the end of Reacher Season 2 Episode 7?
Towards the end, Reacher surrendered himself to Langston to save his friends and pull off an assault from within.
The episode saw O’Donnell and Dixon getting caught by Langston while Reacher extracted information from Lieutenant Marsh and Grant the assassin. But when Langston asked him to surrender, he stated that Neagley died, and kept her as his backup.
Then as the episode reached its end, Reacher arrived at New Age’s R&D facility in Rockland County, where the exchange of missiles between Langston and the multi-named assassin with initials ‘A’ & ‘M’ is about to go down. Right before the exchange, Reacher steps in to surrender and the screen cuts to black with a smirk on his face.
Who dies in Reacher Season 2 Episode 7?
“The Man Goes Through” saw Reacher and his squad take down a drug operation and kill a couple of dirty soldiers along with the buyers. Then in the present day, Reacher eliminates Lieutenant Marsh and two other assassins.
Episode 7 saw the 110th Special Investigators Unit bring Operation Kite Runner to an end by busting a drug trade and bringing the people involved to justice.
The episode opened with the confirmation that Detective Russo died towards the end of episode 6. To avenge him, Reacher interrogated Lieutenant Marsh, who sold Russo out to Langston. As Marsh made a move against Reacher, the latter put a bullet in his head and moved on to his next target, Grant.
The assassin getting intensive care at Mount Sinai Hospital got a visit from Reacher and Neagley. As they extracted intel about Langston’s exchange out of him, they took him down and avenged Russo. Following that, Reacher and Neagley killed another assassin who was sent to take care of Grant.
What’s next for Jack in Reacher Season 2 Episode 8, aka the Finale?
In the finale, Reacher is expected to get tortured for a while before Neagley comes through as his backup, enabling him to launch a tactical attack on Langston and ‘A.M.’.
Episode 8 will likely see Reacher execute his plan to escape captivity and save O’Donnell and Dixon. Then, he is expected to bring Langston to justice with the help of Neagley, Tony Swan, and Senator Lavoy’s two former Navy SEALs and one Ranger. Most importantly, we’d finally see Reacher go up against his greatest live-action antagonist to this date, A.M.!
