The Woman in the Window is a psychological thriller about Anna Fox, a child psychologist, who suffers from agoraphobia. She lives alone in a Manhattan brownstone after parting ways with her husband, Edward. She has a daughter called Olivia, who lives with her father. Anna gets to talk to Olivia every day. Her phobia and her housebound state make her observe her neighbors, especially the Russell family, who have just moved into the neighborhood. Her new neighbors look picture-perfect from the outside. However, she witnesses Jane’s murder by her husband, Ethan, one night. She calls the cops immediately, but they don’t believe what she saw. The police claimed that everyone in the family was okay. Later, Alastair arrives with Jane, who is not the woman that Anna had met. She has been spying on the Russell family since then.
