Horror movie fans want to know whether Night Swim has any post-credits or end-credits scenes that set up a sequel. Should they sit through the credits for additional pieces of footage? Here’s everything you need to know.
Does Night Swim have a post-credits scene?
No, Night Swim does not have any end credits scenes.
Thanks to Marvel Studios, post-credits scenes setting up future movie sequels and spinoffs have become commonplace in theatrical releases. Several franchises continue to add additional scenes stacked in between or at the end of the credits.
But that’s not the case with Night Swim. The latest Universal and Blumhouse horror flick doesn’t have any scenes after the credits. Once the screen turns to black and the credits start to roll, that’s it for the film!
Is there anything after the Night Swim credits?
No, Night Swim does not feature any mid-credits or post-credits sequences.
After the film ends, all we get to see are the credits that reveal the film’s cast including Wyatt Russell as Ray Waller, Kerry Condon as Eve Waller, Gavin Warren as Elliot Waller, and Amélie Hoeferle as Izzy Waller, among others. It’s your choice if you want to either go through the names and see who was involved in front of and behind the camera, or leave right after the movie’s ending.
The official synopsis of Night Swim reads:
“Forced into early retirement by a degenerative illness, former baseball player Ray Waller moves into a new house with his wife and two children. He hopes that the backyard swimming pool will be fun for the kids and provide physical therapy for himself. However, a dark secret from the home’s past soon unleashes a malevolent force that drags the family into the depths of inescapable terror.”
