The Night Swim streaming release date is highly anticipated, and viewers are wondering when they can start streaming the TV series. Writer-director Bryce McGuire developed Night Swim from the 2014 namesake short film he made with Rod Blackhurst. Night Swim is the first film to be released by James Wan’s Atomic Monster and Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Productions after the merger of the two companies.
Here’s when the Night Swim could be coming out for streaming online.
When is the predicted Night Swim streaming release date?
The Night Swim release date could be sometime between late February and early March 2024.
Recent Blumhouse productions that were distributed by Universal — M3GAN and The Exorcist: Believer — were made available on the streaming platform within a couple of months of their theatrical releases. Night Swim premiered in Los Angeles on January 3, 2024, and is slated to have a wider US release on January 5, 2024. Because of this, the film is likely to make its streaming debut sometime between late February or early March 2024.
In Night Swim, Ray Waller is a former baseball player who had to retire early because of a degenerative illness and moves into a new house with his family. However, they soon discover that their backyard swimming pool is haunted by a supernatural and hostile entity.
The cast includes Wyatt Russell as Ray Waller, Kerry Condon as Eve Waller, Amélie Hoeferle as Izzy Waller, and Gavin Warren as Elliot Waller. Some of the other cast members are Nancy Lenehan, Jodi Long, Rahnuma Panthaky, Eddie Martinez, Elijah J. Roberts, and more.
Is Night Swim coming out on Peacock?
Night Swim could be available to watch via streaming on Peacock.
Night Swim is being distributed by Universal Pictures, which is owned by NBCUniversal, and Peacock is a subsidiary of NBCUniversal Television and Streaming, the TV and streaming branch of NBCUniversal. So, it can be safely speculated that Night Swim will stream on Peacock.
Current Peacock subscribers should be able to watch the series when it airs. Peacock has multiple subscription plans available for the viewers. The Premium plan costs $5.99 a month and $59.99 a year, and the Premium Plus costs $11.99 a month and $119.99 a year.
The Night Swim official synopsis reads:
“Forced into early retirement by a degenerative illness, former baseball player Ray Waller moves into a new house with his wife and two children. He hopes that the backyard swimming pool will be fun for the kids and provide physical therapy for himself. However, a dark secret from the home’s past soon unleashes a malevolent force that drags the family into the depths of inescapable terror.”
