Is there a Day Shift 2 release date?
Day Shift 2 does not have an official release date, but it will likely be announced in the future.
As of December 2023, Day Shift 2 hasn’t been greenlit. However, director J. J. Perry, who made his feature film debut with Day Shift, revealed in a Corridor Crew video in June 2023 that he had pitched the Day Shift sequel, titled Night Shift, to Netflix. Not much has been heard about it since then, and Perry seems to be busy at present with his upcoming project, The Killer’s Game, starring Dave Bautista and Ben Kingsley.
This doesn’t mean that the sequel can’t happen in the future. Some of the stars seem interested in making another Day Shift film. “We want to make as many of these as possible, and without giving too much away, by the end, we’re a team together,” Dave Franco, who portrays Seth, told ComingSoon in August 2022. “So, to be able to start a new one where we’re hitting the ground running, and I can be in on the action from the get-go. That sounds like a blast for me.”
