Is there an Outer Range Season 2 release date?
Outer Ranger Season 2 could arrive by early 2024.
In October 2022, Outer Range was renewed for season 2, and production began in March or April 2023. Brolin, who portrays Royal Abbott, shared a nude photo of himself from the set in April, revealing that the upcoming season was poised to go in a different direction. “Prepping for a scene for Outer Range Season 2,” he posted. “We are taking things in a different direction now. It’s a shifting world and we have to be sensitive to all. Power of example is everything, so examples we are. We aren’t supposed to post photos from the show but this isn’t really during the show, but rather lunch outside in the beautiful Santa Fe desert.”
Filming reportedly concluded in July of that year, though it was likely before the onset of the actors’ strike on July 14. Post-production has probably been completed in the months since then. One of the reasons that the series hasn’t come out yet maybe that Amazon and the producers wanted the actors to be available to promote the show, which they couldn’t due to the strike. Now that it has ended, season 2 can potentially come out in early 2024.
