It was reported in February 2021 that the reboot had been originally greenlit for two seasons to be broadcast on Cartoon Network and HBO Max. In April 2023, Terry McGurrin, writer, producer, and voice actor for the host Chris McLean, revealed on X (formerly known as Twitter) that the production for the second season was almost done. “Today we are watching the rough leica for the finale of the second season. So very close to finished,” he wrote, while answering a fan’s query.
The second season is reportedly slated to premiere in Italy on K2 in December 2023, though the first episode was unfortunately leaked online in November. Given that the first season premiered in Italy on K2 and Discovery Plus on April 10, 2023, before it was available in Canada in October, we can speculate that the second season will come out in Canada in the first half of 2024 at the earliest.
