It has been nine months since Echo 3‘s first season ended. Since then, fans have been curious about whether or not a second season will happen. Echo 3 is an action-thriller series based on the Israeli award-winning television series When Heroes Fly, which was created by Omri Givon and was in turn inspired by Amir Gutfreund’s novel When Heroes Fly.

Echo 3 Season 2 does not have a release date as the action thriller series has not yet been officially renewed on Apple TV Plus. It is very likely that Apple TV Plus is still analyzing the overall viewership figures and ratings in order to determine if a second season should happen or not.
However, Mark Boal, Echo 3’s creator has stated in an interview with Variety that he believes a second season and more seasons will happen as he has envisioned Echo 3 as a multi-season series and also because he has strong faith in the show’s performance and success. Boal’s words do not seem empty as both critics and audiences like Echo 3 and it has scored enough viewership points to garner a second season.
On the other hand, however, Apple TV Plus’s inconsistency leads to Echo 3 having an uncertain future. Despite Shantaram’s positive word of mouth and success, Apple TV Plus canceled the series after just one season. Thus, it remains to be seen whether or not Echo 3 will meet the same fate.
