Who is Wang Zhi or Ochoku from One Piece? We don’t know a lot yet about the legendary Rocks Pirates, led by Rocks D. Xebec. Throughout the series, a couple of Rocks Pirates members have been revealed. One of them is Wang Zhi, also known as Ochoku. Here is a guide on everything we know about Wang Zhi so far.
One Piece: Who is Wang Zhi?
Wang Zhi, or Ochoku, is a former member of the Rocks Pirates.
They used to rule over Hachinosu or Pirate Island, the New World island known as a “Pirate Paradise.” When Sengoku was talking about the Rocks Pirates, he said Ochoku was an impressive pirate alongside Captain John and Shiki.
Following the God Valley Incident, the Rocks Pirates went their own separate ways, forming their own pirate crews. There is no available information yet on whether Wang Zhi also formed his own crew.
In the Rocky Port Incident, they were fighting Blackbeard. Blackbeard noted that he defeated Ochoku after having some sort of help from Koby. After that, Blackbeard turned into the new ruler of Hachinosu.
Who are the Rocks Pirates in One Piece?
The Rocks Pirates were an incredibly powerful pirate crew.
In the current One Piece timeline, they were defeated 38 years ago. Rocks D. Xebec led the crew and during their time, they were the strongest and most dangerous crew. However, the crew did not get along well. Their violent and ruthless nature caused them to kill both enemies and allies.
Whitebeard (Edward Newgate) talked about his time with the Rocks Pirates for a bit with Oden Kozuki. He told him he had terrible memories of the Rocks Pirates.
