Gen V season 1’s lead character, Marie Moreau, is one of the most interesting Supes introduced in The Boys Universe. Here’s a list of the powers and abilities that make her so powerful and intriguing to viewers.
What are Marie Moreau’s powers in Gen V?
Jaz Sinclair’s Marie Moreau possesses a unique blood sense and can manipulate blood. Along with that, she also has limited super-strength, durability, and regenerative healing.
Blood Manipulation
Marie’s prime ability is to control blood. She can turn her blood into solid physical weapons such as tendrils or blades and use them for close-range combat. She can also launch offensive attacks using solidified blood and has telekinetic control over it up to an extent.
But she can only manipulate blood when it drips out of her or someone else’s wounds. That is the reason why she carries a switchblade to cut herself and step into battle. Furthermore, she can also act as a healer by controlling blood flow and preventing blood loss from a wound. That’s how she saved a dying person’s life and stepped into the spotlight.
Blood Sense
Marie’s blood manipulation gives her a unique ability to sense blood. She was able to figure out that Sam had someone else’s blood under his fingernails, and she could even tell the exact day that Emma Meyer would get her period. She picked up a tracker in her and Jordan’s body by noticing a difference in blood flow.
Most importantly, she made Rufus’ genital explode. So, with a bit more control over her blood sense and blood manipulation, she could become one of the strongest Supes ever, having the ability to explode people from within.
Other Limited Abilities
- Marie also possesses limited super strength and durability that’s more than a regular human, but not up to the level of Supes such as Homelander, Golden Boy, or Sam.
- She has quick healing abilities, up to a certain extent, that heal the repeated switchblade wounds on her hands quickly on a regular basis.
