If you’re watching Castlevania: Nocturne and wondering when exactly Alucard and Dracula appear, you’ll find the information you desire below.
When does Alucard appear in Castlevania: Nocturne?
Alucard appeared in the eighth and final episode of Castlevania: Nocturne.
Alucard became a fan-favorite character appearing alongside Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades in Castlevania. Now, in the follow-up series, we see him unite with their descendant, Richter Belmont, to save the day.
When Erzsebet’s eclipse plunged the city into darkness, Dracula’s son returned and impaled Drolta with his sword. She died and her minions fled, bringing an end to the conflict. After defeating his father, Alucard wasn’t seen for over 300 years. Even Richter presumed that he was a myth. But we expect his brief cameo and absence from Nocturne to be addressed further in season 2.
Does Dracula appear in Castlevania: Nocturne?
Despite being supposedly alive during Castlevania: Nocturne, Dracula doesn’t appear in Castlevania: Nocturne season 1.
Dracula was killed off in Castlevania season 2, but cultists resurrected him towards the end of season 4. The King of Vampires even got a happy ending over 300 years before the events of Nocturne. Since he was alive, many expected him to be back along with Alucard in the latest follow-up series. However, that didn’t happen as Nocturne focused on villains like Erzsebet Báthory and Drolta.
While Drolta perished, Erzsebet and her new vampire, Tera, live. They’re expected to return in season 2. However, it is possible for Dracula to also be back and raise the stakes even higher. Fans of the original and sequel animated shows would no doubt like to witness an Alucard-Dracula rematch. Time will tell if that epic battle will be on the cards!
