Zombieland 3 has been on the minds of fans of the franchise ever since Zombieland: Double Tap dropped in theaters around four years ago.

Zombieland 3 does not have an official release date as of this writing.
However, due to the critical and commercial success of Zombieland: Double Tap, a sequel will no doubt very likely happen. However, fans will have to wait until 2029.
This is because franchise director Ruben Fleischer revealed in an interview with Discussing Film that he might want to keep the 10-year gap tradition that was followed by the first two installments of the franchise, wherein the first film came out in 2009 and the second was released in 2019. He further stated in the interview that Zombieland lead Emma Stone had suggested the idea of a new Zombieland film “every 10 years” to him.
This date is an estimation based on the information we have at the time of this writing.
Zombieland 3, if made, will very likely bring back Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin to reprise their roles from the first two films. Zoey Deutch could also return from the second film as she has expressed interest in doing so in a July 2022 interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
