The Boys fans are no doubt wondering, “Is Homelander in Gen V?” The new spin-off series is now available on Amazon Prime Video and viewers will be looking out for the psychotic Homelander sporting his red, white, and blue costume. Here’s what you need to know about any Antony Starr cameos in Gen V.
Is Homelander in Gen V?
Homelander doesn’t show up physically in Gen V but is shown on TV. But he could show up in future episodes.
UPDATE: Homelander appears in the finale of Gen V and helps in capturing Marie, Andre, Emma, and Jordan.
To establish the fact that Gen V takes place in the same universe as The Boys, there are several references to the main series. One of these involves a cameo from A-Train. We might get similar cameos in the upcoming episodes. However, whether Homelander shows up himself remains to be seen.
At the time of writing, three episodes have been added on Prime Video and none of those include a physical appearance from Homelander. The series tells us a separate story focusing on a bunch of college-age Supes. So, it’s likely that a different trajectory will be taken throughout. However, we did get a nod at the big villain of The Boys which revealed what’s going on with him during the events of Gen V.
Where is Homelander during Gen V?
Homelander is presumed to be with his son Ryan. However, he could instead be facing a trial following his brutal murder of an innocent protestor during The Boys season 3.
In Gen V’s second episode, we see a few news snippets play out after episode 1’s shocking demise. One of those gave us a look at Victoria Neuman’s campaign, while the other showed Homelander alongside the caption, “Homelander on trial?”
