The film is based on British novelist Damien Lewis’s 2015 book of the same name, and Guy Ritchie is directing it. Ritchie also shares writing credits on the film with Arash Amel, Paul Tamasy, and Eric Johnson. The movie began filming in February 2023 and has already wrapped production.
