Marvel’s Secret Invasion continued the Phase 4 and Phase 5 pattern of introducing powerful new characters to the MCU with G’iah. She already went through the Super Skrull machine and gained a few new abilities in episode 3. But thanks to the Harvest’s infusion, episode 6 granted her a new set of abilities. Here is G’iah’s full list of powers and details on whether she is now the strongest MCU character.
What powers does G’iah have in Secret Invasion Episode 6?
G’iah has powers from the following heroes and villains:
- Ghost
- Captain America
- Corvus Glaive
- Thanos
- Outrider
- Proxima Midnight
- Captain Marvel
- Abomination
- Mantis
- Cull Obsidian
- Black Panther
- Drax
- Korg
- Ebony Maw
- Frost Beast
- Hulk
- Chitauri
- Valkyrie
- Thor Odinson
- Gamora
- Flora Colossus
- Winter Soldier
To add to these names, the Harvest might also include the DNA of other characters such as Spider-Man and Nebula. Since Both Gravik and G’iah got radiated with the Harvest, they were able to project the abilities of all these aforementioned characters.
We witnessed G’iah use the powers of Hulk, Extremis, Drax, Ghost, Korg, a Frost Giant, Captain Marvel, Mantis, the Abomination, and Cull Obsidian. Meanwhile, Gravik fought back with the abilities of Groot, the Abomination, Korg, Ebony Maw, Extremis, Hulk, Thanos, and Captain Marvel. But it’s safe to assume that both those characters possess the same set of abilities.
Unfortunately for Gravik, G’iah was the last Super Skrull standing and her set of abilities includes shape-shifting, telekinesis, super strength, flight, agility, durability, endurance, stamina, energy projection, heat and cold projection, empathic abilities, and almost all physical powers that the Avengers and Thanos’ army possessed. We are yet to see her peak in the MCU.
Is G’iah now the most overpowered MCU character?
With the Harvest, G’iah has turned into one of the strongest characters in the MCU to have ever existed.
One could argue that she might be the strongest of all, but it’s important to note that the abilities she replicates could be slightly weaker when compared to the original character using them.
For instance, the impact of her “Hulk Smash” may be weaker compared to a real “Hulk Smash” from Bruce Banner. Furthermore, Gravik’s demise proved that even though G’iah has regenerative abilities, she can still be killed if her vital organs are damaged, or if a hole is blown through her body.
So, she may not be the most overpowered character yet as the likes of Carol Danvers, Wanda Maximoff, and Thor could be able to win against her. However, once she gains mastery over all her newly acquired abilities and begins to combine them in combat, she could become highly effective and even take down characters that are stronger than her.
