Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one. In fact, during the Xbox Digital Broadcast at Tokyo Game Show last night, there were two more games revealed to be coming to the service, including Like a Dragon: Ishin!.
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name Arrives in November
The upcoming Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will be released on November 9, 2023. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to play the game on the same day it is released.
The game tells the story of the legendary Kazuma Kiryu who faked his own death and changed his name. Despite this, he’s driven out of hiding and drawn back into a life of crime under the codename “Joryu” when a rival gang threatens his family. Once players complete the game’s story, they’ll be able to access a playable prologue of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth that includes exclusive content that won’t be included in the game itself when it’s released on January 26, 2024.
Like a Dragon: Ishin!, which was released earlier this year, will also be added to Game Pass. Set in feudal Japan, players assume the role of Sakamoto Ryoma who is trying to clear his name after being blamed for his father’s murder. A specific date for this game’s addition wasn’t given but the game will be added to the service at some point in 2023.
The other Xbox Game Pass announcement made during the show was that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy will be added to the collection later this month on September 26. This title is a surprise Xbox Game Pass September 2023 Wave 2 addition that joins games like Lies of P, Party Animals, and Payday 3.
