PlayStation’s June 2, 2022 State of Play had many announcements, from its PlayStation VR2 titles to games like Resident Evil 4 remake. It was a lot to take in, so here’s everything that was announced at the June 2022 State of Play.
Resident Evil 4 Remake
Sony officially revealed the existence of this oft-reported remake (which is also coming to PC and Xbox Series X|S) that’s releasing on March 24, 2023. It will also have some sort of PS VR2 support.
Resident Evil Village for PS VR2
Village is coming to PS VR2.
The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Chapter 2: Retribution
The VR game was announced for PS VR and PS VR 2. It will release in 2022, but that doesn’t confirm that PS VR2 is coming this year.
No Man’s Sky for PS VR2
The PS5 version of the game is getting PS VR2 support.
Horizon Call of the Mountain
Sony showed more gameplay for the upcoming PS VR2 title, but it has no date.
Horizon Forbidden West Update
The game is getting a huge update today that brings New Game+, transmog, ultra hard difficulty, and more.
Spider-Man PC Port
The 2018 hit is coming to PC on August 12, 2022. Miles Morales is slated for the fall.
Stray
The highly anticipated cat game is coming to PS4, PS5, and PC on July 19. PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will be able to play as a part of their subscription.
The Callisto Protocol
The upcoming horror game from ex-Dead Space developers got a gameplay trailer and a December 2, 2022 release date for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Rollerdrome
OlliOlli World developer Roll7 announced its next game, which is coming out on August 16 for PS4, PS5, and PC for $29.99.
Eternights
The anime action game and dating sim is coming in early 2023 for PS4, PS5, and PC.
Street Fighter 6
The fighting game got its first real trailer and will be releasing on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC next year.
Tunic
The highly acclaimed adventure game that came out earlier this year is coming to PS4 and PS5 on September 27.
Season
The previously revealed game got an autumn 2022 release window for PS4, PS5, and PC.
Final Fantasy XVI
The action RPG’s new trailer revealed that it was coming in summer 2023 for PS5.
